It seems to me that there's at least two different questions that are separable here. One is, what is the amount of danger that we're stepping into by building things that are more and more intelligent? And the other is what level of danger is acceptable, right? So, you know, one person might say, well, maybe there's a 10% chance or humanity's going to totally drive itself off a cliff by building things more intelligent than itself. We have to take the risk. Another person would be like, 10%, are you crazy? Would you fly in a plane that 10% chance of crashing? That's nuts.
