The Cost of Retributive Punishment
If we want to keep our human existence, go on reacting emotionally. Otherwise we become dehumanised robots. We can sometimes lock people away when they've done a crime because they're danger. But at the same time we shouldn't, in my opinion, keep retributive punishment. That sounds like having your cake and eating it though does note that you both want to say that everything has a scientific explanation. Do you want to think, Glover? Thank you very much. There's now a Philosophy Bites book published by Oxford University Press.
