Go: A Replacement for C Programming

In my mind, it's a replacement for C. It solves a bunch of problems that C has been stuck, not being able to solve. And then, you know, in a number of other things, it's an improvement over C. So somebody who took issue with me calling it archaic, I responded and said, yeah, here's some of the top of my mind language features that he would consider modern that Go does not have. He listed pattern matching, ADTs, type classes, immutability by default.
