Ettipus and the City of Thebes
A sickness had fallen over the city of Thebes. Famine and blight and death were devouring the townspeople. King Ettipus dispatched his brother-in-law, Creon, to the oracle at Delphi. There, Creon would learn the secret of what could help the Thebans and their king.
