The Role of Your Hymn Bind in Insulin Release

Back in 2010, you helped identify that many people who have type two diabetes have this particular genetic variant. And is that what set you on the path for a current paper, which is trying to block that as a method of treating it? Exactly. It's often a big bottleneck in medical research in general to bring basic research findings to the patient setting. But this was very attractive target because it is a receptor for stress hormones sitting on the surface of the insulin releasing cells. There were already drugs available that blocks this receptor, drug called your hymn bind.
