I think there's more nuance to the job Than just looking at data and being like, oh formulaically, my inflation's here My policy rate has to be here So there's like a there sensing it, they've got their finger on the pulse. They need people to think that interest rates are going to stay higher for longer. If you have these dramatic cuts priced into the back end of the curve, what are you actually doing? You're not really hiking if it's coming down later.
