Is a Solo 401k Better Than a SEP?

If you're 50 or over, you get to put an extra 6,500 bucks a year into a solo 401k. You do not get in a SEP. There's no there's no catch up or extra contribution for 50 and older. But the 401k has drawbacks. It is a little more work and fees to set up on the front end. The first exemption being, I don't want to put away as much as a 401k.
