When I wrote this book, I had been published rather widely as a journalist and magazine writer. So there was always the wonder when I was doing this, is someone going to really give a shit? Right. And thank God that I had the good luck to find a decent publisher and to find an audience. Because I think there's a lot of people who write good things that don't get them read. And if you're in a position where someone gives a shit about what you're saying, either on a podcast or in a book or in an article or whatever, thank God. Thank God I can make a connection with the whining.
