Leg Fidgeting Improves Glycemic Control in Obese People
When we look at sedentary behaviors, they are associated with increased risk of mortality and diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. But the key point is that that is sedentary behavior, not sitting. We want to be able to move around as we're sitting. And some other studies have shown this idea of leg fidgeting during prolonged sitting improves glycemic control in people with obesity.
