Understanding the Kingdom of God
The book of Daniel was an important text that contained a prophetic timetable about God's kingdom activity in the world. Jesus' favorite designation for himself was the son of man. The second lens was a covenantal lens given to King David. Christians follow those prophecies, both the Davidic covenant and also the Book of Daniel but we just believe that the kingdom of God came a little differently than they understood it.
