The Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6
The Lord's prayer is placed almost dead center in the sermon. On both sides of this prayer, Jesus talks a lot about logics of reciprocation. He tells us that we should not try to earn praise and glory with our piety. But he also warns against being violent in exchange for others' attention.
