There's a lot of evidence about cash transfers, or schemes where parents are paid modest sums to keep their kids in school. The other thing we know is that giving economic opportunities for parents also makes a difference. Ultimately, it will be about being pragmatic, not being dogmatic, about recognizing that we need to eliminate poverty and not necessarily child labor.
