Children and adolescents with ADHD overall tend to get hurt more often and more severely than peers without ADHD. They're significantly more likely to get injured while walking or riding a bicycle, have head injuries, injure more than one part of their body,. Emotional abuse and neglect are more common among men and women that have ADHD.
