Ashe denver and glenda roush were driving on route forty seven when they saw lily's truck sitting outside a service station. They blocked the road, but it was only one lane dirt road. So ashcraft got out of his truck with an automatic rifle to shoot at them. Lily used her car door as a shield so that she could fire back from 10 feet away. Ledsom heard ashcraft say he had another clip in his gun before shooting again. Ashe managed to slip inside ben johnson's cabin after being shot by ledsom.
