Apple's Introducing the Lockdown Mode, Right?
CNN's John Defterios says he is happy Apple has released a new version of its iPhone software. The update adds data protection and lockdown mode for people who could be targeted by law enforcement. But it also opens the floodgates to companies like Apple that may have access to customers' private information, defterios says. He argues there should be no such thing as an "unencrypted" or encrypted cloud service.
