Bitcoin Mining Could Complement Renewables?
Some have suggested Bitcoin mining could be a way of evening out the unreliability of renewables. Rather than renewables, I think that argument's better applied to currently inefficient or wasted fossil fuels. For example, the burn off in oil fields, we can now use that because that energy is there. It is reliable. It's just inconvenient for other uses. Now we don't have to throw it away. We can put it to good work. As opposed to taking up land and resource to build a solar panel field. But you're still battling the unreliability. Let them develop the argument and then we'll apply it to inefficient fossil fuels. Yeah. Stay.
