Surgery Safety Checklists - How Do They Reduce SSIs?

We typically use Cephasilin because most of our procedures, what we're thinking about is our highest risk would be skin related organisms. If we get into the GI tract, if we get into gynecological surgeries, then we will try and adjust some of our antibiotics. Because of the different types of organisms, we think we might encounter in those specific locations. There are surgical checklists that are available.
