Listener Nicola wants to know if dog poo bags made from recycled plastic are better for the environment. Mark Mia Dovnik is a professor of materials in society at University College London. He and his colleagues conducted a large scale study into how compostable compostable packaging really is. The cheapest ones cost less than one pence a bag, he says.
