Somebody had tweeted their own findings for the embeddings API basically saying it's too expensive and a simpler model which is a lot smaller, which is cheaper to run. And then somebody at OpenAI also responded and came up with their own thread basically saying a lot of the old benchmarks no longer apply. Sam Altman who's the CEO of Twitter, he put out the next day that so basically so someone else Boris tweeted. Shout out to Boris. Our models are available to anyone who will build the next gen search tools and commercialize them effectively.
