The Unreliable Narrator

Some authors are able to say a whole lot about language without ever really coming up with a full conlang. If you read your readers don't care for the most part, you do not need to come up with full languages. But I still think it would be very important to keep a document about the languages and keep notes in a basic outline so that you do not screw up your own invention.
