Could the President's Side Give Him a Position in the Cabinet?

Chen Shur Zhang was a previous DPP member, and so rejoining the party is not necessarily all that new. But then I think it raises the questions about his future going forward. What could the president's side give him a position in the cabinet? Could he be pushed up in the party to become maybe more prominent heading into the 2024 ballot?
