Introduction
Rama Shustri leveraged a disorganized industry to build DriveU, the market leader in India's on-demand private driver space. Today, drive use being used by more than 40,000 passengers on a monthly basis and as trained and certified upwards of 50,000 drivers for their service. In 2015, he became a multi-millionaire when one of his portfolio companies, Taxi for Sure, was acquired by Olaf for $200 million. But Rama didn't actually start drive you because he needed the money. He used that money to found and build drive you as a way of giving back to India, which is a country that he'd left in 1980.
