I've Already Threw California on the Table
I think we have at least three states that would likely prefer to be countries. I'm thinking California, Utah and Texas for very different reasons. In Utah, they've already drafted a document for a shadow government. Everybody knows what's going to happen when they become independent. This is in their field division more than you might think.
