The Role of Credentials in Critical Thinking

When it comes to the role trust plays in critical thinking, i would be remiss not to mention the appeal to trust fallacy. There's always outliersw when you have any group, you're going to have people on the extreme ends of the bell shaped curve. And oftentimes, people who are biased towards not believing the conventional wisdom and scientific consensus will find somebody that has the credentials but is a real outlier. So that has to be taken into consideration.
