The Importance of Evidence-Based Research

I was an aerospace engineering major, and the great thing about engineering is that there's an equals sign. The fuzzy sciences like psychology and economics didn't make as much sense to me so I stayed away from those. If I could believe and figure out a way to look at Willie Caterpillars and figure out the stock market from them, then okay, fine. But I try to look generally in areas that are more fruitful for exploration. Yeah. Well you know that makes a lot of sense to me to hear you say that because a lot of the research of yours sounds like it's very evidence-based and mathematics in its approach.
