The Impact of Non-Essential Subsidiaries on the Company's Strategic Management
Weems and Plath started in 1836. The C Plath Electronics division moved to Charlotte's Phil, Virginia. Most of the revenue was based around this unknown product range, which was chart navigation tools, brass clocks and braumas. And so there were 24 non-essential subsidiaries that were being divested during this time when we were being asked to divest or to assimilate into another division.
