In the 20th century, there was this huge effort from Denmark and France in America and Norway of psychiatrists trying to write off Jesus as mad. So you get a whole kind of empty 20th century where the sanity of Jesus is not something that's up for discussion within biblical studies. Therefore, it's too unscientific because you can't get a single person inside the mind of an individual study such as Jesus. And so we're going to use modernity as a reason to not discuss an individual case such as Jesus on and so forth.
