The Importance of Discounts Off of Prime Rates
Most lenders are not offering a good discount off of the primary right now either. This is usually a function of the risk and volatility in the money supply. So that's the tough part too is, you know, variable right now prime is 6.95%. There are some banks however that are offering pretty deep discounts like prime minus one.
