ISTJ - Is There a Superpower in This?

I think this authenticity piece can also show up on a macro level for you as an ISTJ feeling. I live in a small town and it's very difficult for us to break into the social scene here because we didn't go to high school in this town. There could be a negative side to this too where you have a sense of protecting yourself against something that you don't identify with corporately. If you aren't imprinted that everything that's new is threatening, if you're imprinted that new things might be friendly, you just aren't used to them yet.
