Shame is in here, isn't it? Some researchers hooked up some soccer fans in Germany to a machine that would measure their smiles and frowns while watching TV clips of soccer. So the pleasure at seeing their rivals fail was faster, deeper, more fulsome than their pleasure at see their team win. That research is so important because there's a debate in our political sphere. Anytime a social media influencer steps into that, I'm calling someone out position.
