The Loss of Youth Soccer in the United States
This loss will prompt some changes in a really good way because you know the United States has had two things going for it. And I think we're stuck with our pay to play system that is disconnected from professional soccer and still relies on college soccer as a nurturing ground. But that doesn't mean that within the highest levels of the game and the best players you're not going to see changes. A player named me official who passed up going to UCLA and signed with Tigre's in Mexico just announced that she would join Katarina McCarrier playing in Europe. So I think I'm going to see more of that and maybe that is going to create a core of the national team playing
