Anabasis by Xenophon - A Book Review
Anabasis was extremely popular in the 18th and 19th centuries as a book for the general public. It was thought to be an excellent text on leadership. And there's also a lot of adventure and some very disturbing scenes. Xenophon gives you, for example, a lot of details because he really wants you to have all the data so that you can understand the leadership decisions clearly.
