Is There a Difference in Philosophy?
Harmony is one of the most interesting concepts, i think, and it's certainly essential. It's a really central place in chinese philosophy, particularly confucian tradition, but also to a certain extent, daoism. You hear it if you read english language chinese newspapers. The idea of harmony is often appealed to. But i come back to that in a minic that's slightly problematic. A in the forbid f you've ben to the forbidden city in bajing, you've got like the gate of supreme harmony,.The hall of supreme harmony, the hall of central harmony, theHall of preserving harmony. And so forth. So what does it mean?
