Flight Crew Failure to Monitor the Fuel State of the Landing Gear
Gacha: They are aware that the fuel is going down, but the captain is maybe unaware of how severe the situation is. Gacha: Maybe he underestimates the severity of the problem they're facing. The investigation revealed that the thump and the yaw that the crew noticed during the lowering of the landing gear was due to a failed tract cylinder assembly in the right main landing gear. So basely, the landing gear just kind of fell down and locked into place, instead of just being controlled down.
