Do We Have Adequate Funds for Biodiversity Conservation?
There has been this running theme of do we have adequate funds to be able to take affirmative action at a national level. Even countries like India have pushed for developing develop nations as well as private investors to invest in climate mitigation or biodiversity protection. If you see the experience of how finance has been rallying, it's not so encouraging that all this money is going to be leveraged very easily. But I think there also, we need to bring back larger questions of should biodiversity conservation only be relying on funding as an imperative?
