The Importance of Personal Experience in Filmmaking
One of like my biggest pet peeves is that one yes i think my films draw on like personal experiences as in like they always have the emotional timber of something that i feel i'm like perpetually lonely. My films are often they have like fantastical elements and there's like magical realism and like absurdism. I just care that it's the POC kind of thing yeah i have like a whole entire rant about this for some reason.
