Using Short Vidios to Detect Manipulation Techniques
Researchers created five short vidios, each tacklig ian particular manipulation technique. About a million people were shown the videos as ads on uto and asked a survey question. The treatment group was significantly better at detecting these manipulations of mings than t e control group.
