The Myth of Automated Autonomy

The myth of automated autonomy is one of the myths that we tend not to think of because of all those grand narratives such as race, gender and geography. The book shows how tech companies play into a particular framing of labor which is quite disembodied and it's all about speed optimization where really workers don't feature in this conversation at all. We need to sort of repoliticize automation and by political here we're not talking about parliament's politician we're really talking about power relations right so who has power who gets to speak who must be silent who gets to make decisions?
