The Rise and Fall of Christian Slater

I think Tarantino wins it because it proves that Reservoir Dogs wasn't just this weird indie fluke. It's belatedly great, probably the most personal of all the movies he's made. The scenario is a classic crime fiction scenario. You find a bag of money and you're on the run. All the gangsters are so note perfect. I would say if you're Tarantino, the dream for this movie is that it didn't do that well and then became really beloved.
