The Mistakes People Make to Validate PLG

Despite VCs and investors getting hyped up that the future of enterprise software is PLG, it's just a repackaged version of old school lead gen. It's like saying Gated eBooks works, look at HubSpot. And guess what? They have big fat enterprise sales teams too, closing big deals. So again, I'm not trying to throw that whole strategy away, but there's just a lot of bad assumptions that get made to validate it.
