Before the STX blow up, there was this sort of ongoing panic on Twitter that SPF was trying to kill DeFi by like pushing some changes. The specific bill in question here is what I mentioned earlier, the Digital Commodity Consumer Protection Act or DCCPA. There's a pending SEC rulemaking to redefine exchange in the context of securities exchange regulation that could actually embrace software developers.
