What Really Divides Us at the Moment?

I think that, for sure, people are polarized across political lines, but i think that the reason for that is cultural. One of the reasons for that is the collapse of meaning. The thing that is most hotly discussed in my workshops is race, maybe say, the intersection of race and culture. But what's informing that is a paradime that basically views the world as a fight between the oppressors and the oppressed. So when i say we have to do the work of becoming whole, i'm really saying that, like we like to talk about how to improve systems.
