The dons trust, which owns a f c wimbleton, is owned by its fans. 11 people running for the four spots in the dons trust that are up for election this year. You can vote for your preferred candidates right now - and i have done. It is democracy in action, and it's a very special thing. Most people don't get to vote for the people who are going to lead their club. They just have to deal with whatever rich person owns it. In that respect, wimbledon fans are very fortunt. And no matter what rich person comes in and tries to steal it, can't.
