The concept of psychological depression seems to not have existed. As technological society increases in its scope and its power, these things will only get worse. There's no way to avoid it. That's an unavoidable outcome that we can expect. People tend to not understand the issues of technology. They tend to only look at the benefits but don't see the negative consequences.
