New order were always about singles I've never really warmed to their albums obviously they had that thing where they never put their singles on their albums anywhere. Tom weights swordfish trombones is one of our favorite albums of the whole period yeah this was a surprise reinvention because he's gone from being what he was through most of the 70s essentially a barroom piano balladilla and into something much more stranger hasn't he almost overnight with this record.
