When we pay attention to the initial emotions, sometimes the initial emotion will just naturally melt away in what's actually underneath. And then we can pay attention to that and see what happens there. I would discourage people, when it comes to mindfulness, from getting too caught up and like, psychoanalyzing with emotions. But i would just encourage people to keep coming back to lik, what are the sensations in my body? What's actually happening for me right now?"
