The Relationship Between Dimensions of Psychopatology and Brain Networks
Using NMS, we were able to identify 18 structural components of the brain. Fear symptoms were associated with reduced cortical thickness in most networks. This is consistent with prior work reporting common gramatter volume loss across multiple psychiatric disorders. Neurostructural deficits may be a risk factor for the development of psychiatric disorders.
