Marriage equality turned out to be much more than just about marriage. It wasn't like the marriage equality movement convinced everyone with homophorbic views to become an ally. But it did convince the people who were amenable to persuasion, and it turned out there were a surprising num of them. And it breaks my heart to know that millions. lesbian couples have the same values like family and commitmen.
