There's definitely some great ones out there that can last longer under those exposure conditions than pure vitamin c for example but still they eventually go bad as do plant oils and plant extracts. How long should we be keeping vitamin c it depends if you're talking ascorbic acid which is the most research but the least stable form and the most difficult to formulate with.
