The Importance of Openness in Leadership

There's not an openness to the fact that people might be experiencing different journeys. And then when you don't have that openness, what ends up happening is your leadership reflects that and it creates divisions at the lower level. I was having a conversation with a younger pastor this past week who said he feels like there's no room for him in the church because of how his views are expressed from the top. There's so many people who they feel like I want to be a part of this family, but it feels like you're pushing me out.
